Hospitality and tourism management refers to management studies pertaining to management in the hospitality industry, of which tourism is a part. The hospitality and tourism industry is a vast sector that includes all the economic activities that directly or indirectly contribute to, or depend upon, travel and tourism. This industry sector includes: Hotels & Resorts. Restaurants & Catering. Night Clubs & Bars.
Course Description: The tourism and management industry is extremely aggressive and business oriented sector. The ones who are successful in this industry have the right mix of access to transport and travel date and have the capability to mix business skills with diplomacy.
What you will learn: They should have an understanding of international tourism; awareness of the dynamic nature of tourism in modern society. They also should have an understanding of products, structures and operations within the tourism industry, insight into the nature and characteristics of tourists. Candidates can go for teaching fields and want to have Master’s Degree also.
